In times where music consumes the world, electronic music is definitely one of the latest crazes. Electronic music is produced with advanced electronic music technology and electronic musical instruments. Such devices that are crucial to this radical musical experience include a sound synthesizer, an electronic organ, an electronic guitar and the telharmonium. By organizing these sounds, one can create electronic music with the use of his or her computer. Electronic music is all over the world and various styles of music have been created as offspring to this new age movement, including electronic dance music.
When did it all start?
Electronic music history has been debated as to when it officially started. Some people attribute its creation to the first mixing of electronic sounds, while others believe that the inventions that led up to the recording of electronic sounds is the true start to this new wave music. In the late 1900s and early 20th century various tools that would later be used to create electronic music were invented. Most believe that electronic music started with the Theremin which was the first electronic musical instrument.
A rich scene
Nowadays there are thousands of electronic music artists. The American pioneers of electronic music are Robert Ashley, Gordon Mumma, David Behrman, Alvin Lucier and John Cage in particular. Bands from all over the world have and continue to use electronic music as an entire layout for their tracks or mixed into their genre of sounds. Likewise, electronic music is revolutionary because when more advanced technology is created, more changes occur in the music world. Just from globalization, electronic music has been made accessible to everyone from listening pleasures to musical creation.
